I just love this smooth chocolate mousse packed with chocolate flavor! It is so quick, simple and easy to make that it will become your new favorite dessert!
I also like the idea of serving it in different ways every time I make it. It looks pretty in glasses, bowls, ramekins, jars or whatever you have at home, as well as in a large bowl.
This is a great choice for when we want to serve an assortment of desserts of different flavors. However, you should have in mind that it needs at least 6-8 hours of chilling time, so you need to plan ahead, but it is totally worth it!!
You can serve it topped with a dollop of whipped cream and chocolate shavings, but it is just as spectacular on its own! This chocolate mousse is absolutely AMAZING!

- 200 g dark chocolate, chopped
- 200 g whipping cream
- 4 eggs , separated
- 80 g white sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- Melt the chocolate together milk on a double boiler, making sure the bowl never touches the simmering water. Remove from the heat and add the yolks, one at a time, mixing until well combined.
- Whip egg whites with sugar and reserve. In a separate bowl, whip cream and add to the chocolate mixture. Finally fold in the whipped egg whites.
- Pour into a large bowl or serving glasses and chill for 6-8 hours.It can be served on its own or topped with a dollop of whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
