It is amazing how you can make an amazing dish with so little!
We can all agree that green beans are quite bland, but pairing them with bacon adds incredible flavor, turning them into a perfect match! It makes a great side dish for any white meat.

Servings 0
Ingredients
- 700 grs green beans
- 100 grs bacon
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- In a pan, bring water with salt to a boil. Add the green beans and boil them for 6-7 minutes. Drain and cool in an ice water bath to stop them from overcooking. Drain once completely cooled.
- Wrap about 10 green beans in a strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Repeat the procedure with the rest of the ingredients.
- In a skillet, heat up the butter. Season the wraps with salt and pepper, place them in the skillet and cook on both sides until golden, around 8 minutes. Remove toothpicks before serving.
Notes
Tips:
- Do not overcook the green beans so they stay crunchy.
- You can add 1 tbsp baking soda to the water so that the green beans keep their bright green color.
