Wash and peel the guavas. Cut in half, remove the seeds with a spoon so that each half is hollow.
Place the sugar and water in a large pan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, add the guavas and cinnamon. Continue to cook until it thickens. Let it cool and ladle into jars.

Tip:
In case guavas are not pink as they usually are, just make a little caramel, add it to the rest of the preparation, and let it cook for a little longer to let the color darken.
